If a child develops Covid-19 symptoms, the child should not be brought to school until the child has been quarantined for 14 days after the symptoms began or has tested negative for Covid-19. In the event of a negative test, child may return to school when symptoms have been absent for 24 hours.
If a child or close family member has been exposed to Covid-19, child should not attend school for 14 days or until the child and family members test negative for Covid-19. THEY MUST QUARANTINE FOR 14 DAYS from last exposure date, even if they test negative for the virus.
If a child becomes sick with Covid-19 symptoms while at school, child will be isolated. The family will be asked to take the child home immediately and keep child home for 14 days or until child has a negative Covid-19 test.
Covid-19 Symptom: Fever, cough, loss of taste/smell, shortness of breath, muscle aches, sore throat, congestion/runny nose, nausea/vomiting, or diarrhea.
