Worship
SUNDAY MORNING 10:00 a.m. WORSHIP
Worship is in many ways like a family meal. Individuals in a family can, and sometimes do, eat separately. However, there is a deeper enjoyment in a meal when we share it with another. Likewise, we worship independently at times, and it is important to worship spontaneously at any place. But if we never worship in community, then we miss the depth of love between the members of the faith community that grows to feel like family. It is in this spirit that we invite you to come and join us.
Worship at Skyline Presbyterian is rooted in the ancient practices of song, prayer, Scripture and teaching.
Our music is varied and we enjoy everything from African drums and contemporary praise songs to traditional hymns, instrumental offerings and choral groups.
Most of all, worship at Skyline warmly invites all to experience the loving presence of God in Christ.
Our goal is that we will worship in such a way as to glorify God and help us desire to return for more.
~Following worship all are invited to gather in the Fellowship Hall for refreshments. Here we have a chance to put names and faces together and enjoy the gift of community before heading off to the rest of our day.
