If you are new to the area or are thinking about coming to Skyline, these smaller events and groups might be an easy way to get to know us and what we are about.
NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED is an easy way to get to know one another. On the first Monday of every month we show up at a local restaurant and enjoy a no host dinner. On December 5th No Reservations is heading to Joeseppi's just off of Pearl and 26th Street in North Tacoma. On January 2nd we'll gather at Massimo's just south of 40th on Bridgeport Way in University Place. We hope to see you. Just show up at 6:30 PM.
YOUNG ADULT GROUP meets every Monday evening at 7PM at Nich and Brenda Smith's apartment for building friendships and opening the real questions of Christian faith in a pluralistic world. All men and women between the ages of 18-30 are welcome as are your friends. When we get too crowded at Nich and Brenda's, we'll head somewhere else. Questions? Directions? WOMEN'S CANCER SUPPORT GROUP meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month in the church 1:30-2:30 PM. This caring group, of women living with and surviving cancer, offers care and support for all. SKYLINE KNITTERS We invite all you who knit, and those who would like to learn, to join Skyline Knitters on Saturday Mornings at 10AM. Some are making personal items while many others are knitting caps and scarves that are given to the Tacoma homeless community or cotton bandages sent to ministries with leprosy across the world. MEN'S MINISTRY ! Join the Men of Skyline in comradeship and friendship, community service, mission opportunities, accountability and growth groups. PEANUT BUTTER AND JAM MINISTRIES gathers Fridays at 1:00 PM in the church. Make peanut butter and jam sandwiches to help feed Tacoma's homeless. All supplies should be available when you get here.
